La Copa Libertadores de America es un nuevo Formato de competencia con los standares de Organización de Competencias de Alto Nivel tipo Copas del Mundo y Campeonato Mundial, Garantizando a los Pilotos una competencia acorde a sus expectativas, para ello contaremos con 3 despegues entre los estados Yaracuy y Carabobo con transporte y sherpeo incluidos.
Nirgua cuenta con una de las zonas de vuelo más variadas e imponentes de Venezuela, la rampa de despegue conocida como “Los Pinos” ubicada en el parque municipal la Peña. Se encuentra a una distancia de 5 Km de la Población de Nirgua estado Yaracuy, la carretera de llegada es de tierra y se recomienda carro Rustico 4x2, el camino es fresco por su plantación de pino Caribe alrededor de toda la vía. Cuenta con espacio para estacionamiento de vehículos, la zona es usada por personas que practican, motocross, ciclismo, caminatas, paseo en rustico, senderismo y camping, siendo el atractivo principal el parapente.
El despegue “Los Pinos” tiene una extensión de 150 x 70 mts de terreno regular inclinado, cubierto de grama, con orientación de salida N, NE, E y SE, pueden despegar aprox 15 alas simultaneas, la altitud es de 1200 mts sobre nivel del mar y 600 mts sobre el relieve del valle, los vientos predominantes son de 5 a 15 Km/h la mayor parte del año con dirección N, NE y E, el sitio de vuelo cuenta con una amplitud de desnivel y montaña que es usado como soaring, las térmicas de servicio están a escasos metros y por lo general tienen promedio de +3, +4 m/s, los cúmulos formados a 1900 mts sobre el nivel del mar marcan y definen la ruta de vuelo. No hay líneas eléctricas, ni cables en la proximidad del despegue, el sitio oficial de aterrizaje es el Nido y queda en línea recta a 3 Km del despegue.
*Chirgua ubicado al este de Nirgua a una distancia aprox de 40 km en linea recta; con una ruta accesible al despegue a tan solo una hora, el despegue se encuentra ubicado a 1500 msnm.
*La Puente ubicado al oeste de Nirgua a una distancia aprox de 35 km en linea recta; con una ruta accesible al despegue a tan solo 40 min, el despegue se encuentra ubicado a 1300 msnm.
*Ambos sitios de vuelos serán usados como estrategia, para garantizar los 5 días de mangas validas voladas.

Equipos mínimos requerido para competir:
- Ala en buen estado.
- Arnés con paracaídas de reserva.
- Radio Vhf.
- Casco.
- GPS.
Costo de Inscripción: 250 Dolares
Único requisito indispensable:
- Licencia de FEDEVIP Vigente Pilotos Venezolanos
- Licencia de Federacion de Origen Vigente Pilotos Extranjeros
La Inscripción Incluye:
- Organización General del Evento.
- Traslado Aeropuerto
- Hospedaje, desayuno Incluido y uso de las diferentes areas.
- Transporte al sitio de vuelo desde la base, en cada Manga.
- Traslado al campamento base en cada Manga. (Retrieve - Busqueda)
- Souvenir alusivo al evento.
- Brazalete de identificación.
- Kit diario de refrigerio.
- Kit mapa, gafete, etiquetas.

Documents required at registration

FAI Sporting Licence
Issued by your local NAC on behalf of the FAI. You cannot normally compete in an FAI event without one. Contact your National Association (NAC)

National Licence
The organiser requires you to present your National flying licence.

Signed Waiver/Release form
You will need to sign a waiver or release document to show you understand the risks. Usually the organiser will provide it on arrival.

Identification documents needed
You will need to provide photo ID on arrival. This could be Passport, Driving Licence or National ID, for example.

Liability Insurance
You must provide the organiser with a copy of your liability (3rd party) insurance documents

Rescue/Medical Insurance
You must provide the organiser with a copy of your medical, rescue and repatriation insurance. You can purchase Global Rescue cover from Airtribune
Cancellation Policy
Any pilot who cancels their registration will be given a refund as follows:
- Cancellation date more than 20 days before competition start date: 50% refund
- Cancellation date less than 15 days before competition start date: 0% refund
Inability to attend due to Covid related travel reasons is not a reason for a refund of an amount greater than the above percentages and stated times. Please ensure you have adequate travel insurance to cover any last minute cancellations.
Cancellation of a Competition by the Organization ie Covid19 interference etc
In the event the organizers deem it necessary to cancel, relocate, or reschedule the competition you will be entitled to a partial refund. This will be on the scale as follows:
- Up to 30 days before the first official event day: 100% less a €30 admin charge
- 30to 7 days before the first official event day: An amount equivalent to the amount paid less the amount spent by the organisation in preparations up to that time.
- Less than 7 days before the event: No refund will be given.
After the start of the competition any refunds will be at the sole discretion of the organizers.
The organizers will not be liable for any costs incurred by anyone attending, or intending to attend the event, or any consequential losses arising from the cancellation, relocation, or rescheduling of the event.
