Flying site
Sestola flying site It is located in Frignano Park and is dominated by the Monte Cimon ( 2165 m ) and other mountains that are part of the watershed Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. Its territory extends from 321 to 2,165 m above the valley floor of the Panaro summit of Mount Cimon, the highest in the Northern Apennines .

This year Italian Open Championship greets you in Sestola. One of the most beautiful flying sites in Italy. The event will be held from 6 till 13 of July.
Important!!! To take part in this competiton you should register on official website EMILIAINVOLO(http://italianisestola2014.emiliainvolo.it/) befroe June 10, 2014. Registration on Airtribune is necessary to have free live tracking with Android smartphones.
Selection and entry fee
1. 62 Italian pilots
2. 40 forreign pilots
3. 10 wild card
4. 10 female pilots
Any vacancies not given to foreigners or women will be reallocated to the pilots recorded in accordance with the selection criteria identified;
In case of equal ranking the preference will be given to the pilot who has carried out the pre-enrollment first.
Registration for the race is subject to the payment of the fee that must be paid within 5 days from the date of sufficient ranking confirmation. This confirmation will be sent to the pilots via e-mail and publication of the list of confirmed riders.
The organizer, the Chairman of the Board, reserves the right to accept an entry for each pilot, whose participation may be excluded for reasons related to safety reasons, or of unfitness of the same to take part in the
competition, including with respect to the previous curriculum concerning the sporting activities.
Registration
Pre-registrations are carried out on the site: http://italianisestola2014.emiliainvolo.it no later than 1 June 2014. Pilots are also asked to be registred for this event on Airtribune.
The list of confirmed riders will be issued by June 10, 2014.
Entry Fee
The registration fee and is € 150.00 and includes:
1. Transport to Take-off including flight equipment
2 . Retrieve for all race days
3 . Pouch food for all race days
4 . T-Shirts
5 . Emergency services for security, ambulance and doctor on race days
6 . Map and gadgets
7 . Prizes
In case od not a single valid taskthe entry fee will be returned to each registered pilots a portion of the registration fee , from a minimum of 30.00 € to a maximum of € 85.00 depending on the costs incurred by the organization;
The registration fee must be paid within 5 days communication of the confirmation ( e-mail) by bank transfer or PayPal.
For payment made over June 10, 2014, will be appended at the bottom of the list and will took first in the waiting list. 'll also increased by an amount of 25.00 € .

The nearest airport is Bologna. From abroad you can also arrive to Milan, Venezia or Rome international airports.
Train

Car
It is located a few kilometers north-east of Mount Cimon, the highest peak
Northern Apennines (2165 m.), contained between the slope of Mount
Calvanella and that of cliff on which stands his fortress. Sestola is easily
reachable from Modena through SP4 - Fondovalle (> Vignola, Marano,
Fanano, Sestola) or along the SP3 - Nuova Estense up to Pavullo and then the
SP30 (> Renno, Castellaro, Sestola). Those coming from the Tuscan side
can opt for the SS12 and then the SS324 (> Abetone, Fiumalbo, Pievepelago,
Montecreto, Sestola) or for the SS64 and SS324 (> Porretta Terme, Silla,
Lizzano, Fanano, Sestola)
