This is the first event of Venezuelan National Hang gliding championship 2015 (1ª Válida Nacional Open Platillón 2015). The chosen flying site is the south-east face of Cerro Platillón located to the West of the city of San Juan de los Morros, Guárico state, in Central Venezuela. This is an Open Hang Gliding event so all pilots may join. There will be two scoring categories: Open and Sport. The Open category is open to all participants (rigid wings will be scored in this category). The Sport category is dedicated to kingpost delta wings and less experienced pilots. The organizers will use Airtribune for live tracking of the event.
