We have been busy at Airtribune, and we wanted to share with you some new features we have recently added.

Hospitality & Responsibility
To help you understand what is included in the event price, and what safety is available at a venue, we have created a new section on the event page. It simply asks the organisers about 10 things we feel are important. If they are offering them, then you will see that in the Info page. Will your event get a 10* rating? The British Open in Colombia did. See it in action here:

Status messages
We have updated our status message system in events. Firstly, when you register to an event, you will no longer go straight to the Waiting List, but instead will show as Registered, This gives the event Admin time to check if you are eligible for the event. If you are, now you will go to the Waiting List. If not, they may put you as Missing Requirements, and you will have to enquire why. We recommend in this instance you check to see if your glider type is allowed, and that you are suitable experienced.

In addition, there is another new message type, Payment Reminder Sent. This is designed to give the pilot a couple of days warning to pay before he is demoted back to the Waiting List.

Emails
We have also upgraded our email system. The emails will, in future, be clearer, and more tailored to the event. You can also expect bank details to be contained within an email in future, instead of displayed publicly on the event.

Need to Cancel?
To save you having to contact the admins direct in order to cancel your place, providing you haven't already paid, then you can now simply go to the Registration tab, scroll to the bottom and hit Cancel. This will automatically cancel you from your request for a place in the event. Much simpler. If however you have already paid, then you must still get in touch with the event Admins.

WPRS
In order to assist with you seeing the quality of an event, we now put easy links on the Participants list to a pilots CIVL page, and display your current WPRS ranking points. This will help you see where you are, relative to the others in the event.
