Aksehir XC Open 2013 enjoys a great success. For today the number of paragliding pilots registered has exceeded 150. It will be held on July 19-21, 2013 in Turkey in the birth town of Nasreddin Hoca. But its not this famous person name that attracts such attention. The main reason for participants is to increase their pilot skills. Aksehir XC Open is a special contest aimed mainly at young and inexperienced pilots but it also welcomes everybody who wants to learn more about Race to Goal competition techniques. There will be two professional pilots who will make lectures for participants at an instructional seminar dedicated to Race to Goal contest format and competition flying strategies. On the first day there will be training flights and on the next two days there will be competition flights. So there we may well find some future Turkish paragliding champions. Having mastered their techniques in the fine flying conditions of the country’s midlands they will later join World, Europe championships as well as PWC. And also this is a true evidence of how much paragliding is popular in Turkey.
