Cameli Open 2013 is a Pre PWC paragliding contest announced by Semih Sayir. This event will be held in Turkey in the Cameli city which situated not far from Denizli and Oludeniz.
According to Paragliding World Cup Rules this event is a qualification event for the next season of World Cup tour. Pilots flown this event will get selection letters in accordance to their competition overall results.
Cameli is a new flying spot discovered by Semih while doing a cross-country courses. Situated on SW Turkey this place provides good flying conditions from May till September. Be careful, July might be windy. With cloud base up to 3000 meters and thermals strenght around 6 m/sec this place is suitable for a long-distance flights, probably 200 km or so. Paragliding World Cup leveled competition might clear this assumption once it would be held there..
