The Acro Battle Ölüdeniz marks the official launch of the 2026–2027 World Tour of Freestyle Flight (WTFF)—a global circuit dedicated to advancing aerobatic paragliding through innovative competition formats, high-level athlete participation, and enhanced spectator engagement.
Flying site
Babadag (Father Mountain) towering above Oludeniz on the Southwest coast of Turkey is a geological marvel that just happens to make for incredible thermals and ideal conditions for paragliding flight. Oludeniz is reputedly the best site in Europe, if not the world, to fly XC paraglidering in both solo and tandem modes.

The Acro Battle Ölüdeniz marks the official launch of the 2026–2027 World Tour of Freestyle Flight (WTFF)—a global circuit dedicated to advancing aerobatic paragliding through innovative competition formats, high-level athlete participation, and enhanced spectator engagement.
Hosted as part of the 26th Ölüdeniz International Air Games, this event brings together many of the world’s top acro pilots to compete above the iconic coastline of Ölüdeniz, one of the most renowned freeflight destinations in the world.
The competition introduces a dynamic head-to-head “Acro Battle” format, designed to showcase progression, amplitude, technical precision, and creativity in a fast-paced elimination structure. Pilots will advance through multiple rounds over three competition days, culminating in final battles to determine the event champion.
As the first official stop of the WTFF circuit, Acro Battle Ölüdeniz sets the foundation for a new era of aerobatic competition—focused on accessibility, transparency, global participation, and elevated media exposure for athletes and events alike.
