Participation of world champions of acrobatics, paramotor and XC:
Raúl Rodríguez, Andrés Villamizar, César Arévalo, Javi Malaguita, Veso Orcharov and Xevi Bonet.
Flying site
Pie de Chinche is located in El Cerrito mountains in Cordillera Occidental between Cali and Tulua. While flying you can enjoy the beautiful views of the Valle de Cauca fields surrounding river Cauca and it's numerous tributaries.

Piedechinche AirFest reactivates the economy through sports, tourism, education, culture, and art.
A paradisiacal journey through the skies of Piedechinche for all free flight pilots.
The event is organized by the AirFest team, which since 1992 have held 5 air festivals in Piedechinche, 3 festivals in Andorra: FreeRider and 2 in Costa Rica: Papapente Parrita and Jaco AirFest; led by the renowned paraglider and event director Rosa Esperanza Gallego.

Es un evento deportivo que vincula todas las actividades de vuelo libre:
Parapente: *Competencia de triangulación.
*Competencia de Accuracy
*Concurso de disfraces en parapente
Participación de campeones mundiales de acrobacia, de paramotor y de XC:
Raúl Rodriguez, Javi Malaguita, Veso Orcharov y Xevi Bonet.
Exhibición de Ala Delta, paracaidismo, globo aerostático, trikes, ultraligeros, revista aérea, drones, aeromodelos, ultimate.
Feria, malabares, telas, stands y gastronomía.
Piedechinche AirFest que reactiva la economía a través del deporte, el turismo, la educación, la cultura y el arte.
Un paseo paradisíaco por los cielos de Piedechinche para todos los pilotos de vuelo libre.
El evento es organizado por el equipo AirFest que desde 1992 realizó 5 festivales del aire en Piedechinche, 3 festivales en Andorra: FreeRider y 2 en Costa Rica: Papapente Parrita y Jaco AirFest; liderado por la reconocida parapentista y directora de eventos Rosa Esperanza Gallego.

Selection and entry fee
The entree fee will be COP $300.000 or USD$90 before february 15
The entree fee will be COP $350.000 or USD$100 after february 15
Documents required at registration

National Licence
The organiser requires you to present your National flying licence.

Signed Application form
You will need to sign an applicaton form at the venue. Usually the organiser will provide it on arrival.

Experience summary required
The organiser wishes for you to provide a summary of your experience on arrival.

Liability Insurance
You must provide the organiser with a copy of your liability (3rd party) insurance documents

Rescue/Medical Insurance
You must provide the organiser with a copy of your medical, rescue and repatriation insurance. You can purchase Global Rescue cover from Airtribune
Cancellation Policy
Any pilot who cancels their registration will be given a refund as follows:
- Cancellation date more than 45 days before competition start date: 50% refund
- Cancellation date between 45 and 30 days before competition start date: 30% refund
- Cancellation date less than 30 days before competition start date: 0% refund
Inability to attend due to Covid related travel reasons is not a reason for a refund of an amount greater than the above percentages and stated times. Please ensure you have adequate travel insurance to cover any last minute cancellations.Cancellation of a Competition by the Organization ie Covid19 interference etc
In the event the organizers deem it necessary to cancel, relocate, or reschedule the competition you will be entitled to a partial refund. This will be on the scale as follows:
- Up to 35 days before the first official event day: 100% less a COP$50.000 for colombian pilots admin charge and USD$50 for international pilots
- 45 to 7 days before the first official event day: An amount equivalent to the amount paid less the amount spent by the organisation in preparations up to that time.
- Less than 7 days before the event: No refund will be given.
After the start of the competition any refunds will be at the sole discretion of the organizers.

Accommodation and Activities
The HQ of the event will be the official landing, located just 0.6 miles from Tablones – Palmira- Valle del Cauca
The official accommodation will be Bello Horizonte, which is the official take off of the festival, it has capacity to accommodate 100 people with double rooms, cabins for six people and camping. It has a swimming pool, bar, restaurant and, the best view in the area.

The easiest, fastest and safest way to get to the HQ or The regular landing is at 'Skyblue". Large field(s) to the west of road; windsock(s) available in Tablones – Plamira- Valle del Cauca is to arrange in advance with the organization a transfer. The contact for this matter you can find it in the contact spot at the main page.
If for any reason you come late, you want to get by yourself to the HQ this are the best two ways from the Airport in Cali:
TAXI: When you go out of the national arrival gate, you fill find at the right side of the luggage claim room a office for the Taxis, there you must give your personal information and the direction where you want to go. In this case Tablones, Palmira, Valle Del Cauca.
BUS: In case you like adventure, the process of getting by bus to Tablones is something like a real one. Just after you land at the Alfonso Bonilla Aragon International airport, outside of the local flights gate in front you will find the local buses that will take you to PALMIRA. Once you are in Palmira you must ask for a bus to Tablones When you arrive at Tablones, the bus will let you down by the main road, where you must take a taxi in Direction to HQ regular landing Skyblue

The nearest airport is Cali. That is connect by Avianca flights to Bogota.

At the first floor of the airport building there is a bus station, Take a bus to Palmira, and there change for a bus to El Placer. From there take a taxi to headquarters:
