Ali Dagi XC Open 2020 is also Turkish Nationals event. It will be held in Kayseri Turkey from 24 till 29 August 2020. We all remember what a success it was last year and previous 11 years. There will be awards in Overall, Women, Teams.

Ali Mountain is one of the famous places in Turkey - a flying site for two World Cup tours and dozens of minor paragliding events. It is located near the town of Kayseri in the Kayseri Province in central part of the country, in Anatolia.

This Event will be FAI Cat 2
Selection and entry fee
The total number of participants is limited to 80+10 Wildcards
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR TURKISH PILOTS
Participation this comp is determined in the following order:
1. National team athletes,
2. Turkish Pilots Rankings Top 30 2019/2018
3. Pilots who have finished at least one open-distance comp or training comp in the first 20%,
4. Pilots who have flown at least one 100+ km or at least two 50+ km prior to comp.
Note: Pilots who have not been flying in any open-distance competition or training competition may not participate in this comp, even if they have references from experienced pilots.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR NON-TURKISH PILOTS
Foreign pilots must be either top 1000 on WPRS rankings or must score on top 1/3 in overall of any FAI Cat 2 competitions in 2018-2019.
WILDCARDS
10 places are reserved for wildcards. Top 500 of WPRS and top 10 of TPS can register any time with the entry fee.
ENTRY FEE PAYMENT DETAILS
Entry fee is 700 TL or EUR 90 until July 30, 2020. The fee after this deadline will be 900 TL or EUR 110. Students under 25 (subject to ID proof) will pay 480 TL or EUR 60 until July 30, 2020. The fee after this deadline will be 700 TL or EUR 90.

Plane
The city is served by Erkilet International Airport and the International Air Transport Association symbol for the airport is ASR. The airport is at a short distance from Kayseri center. There are several flights per day to Istanbul, Turkey's premium air transportation hub. Since the air transportation industry in Turkey is growing fast at present, new flights from Kayseri to several other localities in Turkey and outside Turkey are soon to be expected.

Train
Kayseri is connected to the rest of country with railroad service. There are four trains per day to Ankara. To the east there are two branches: one to Kars and Doğukapi toward Armenia, and another to Tatvan on the west shore of Lake Van.

Car
Since the city is located in central Turkey, transportation via cars and buses are highly efficient. It takes approximately 3 hours to reach Ankara, approximately 3 hours to Mediterranean shores and 45 minutes to Cappadocia. The symbol of the city, Mount Erciyes, which is a notable ski center in winters and a trekker's paradise in summers, is at only 30 minutes' drive from the city centre.
