2nd edition of this event held by Ligue Grand Est Vol Libre in the Vosge's Mountain and Alsace Region part of France.
We expect 100 people like at Palz Open last year were we were 107 pilots !!!

Seconde édition de l'Alsace Vosges après une belle réussite en 2022. Nous attendons 100 pilotes pour des belles manches comme celle de 100km à la Palz 2022.
Nous commençons un dimanche car le samedi c'est le tour de France cycliste qui sera au Markstein !!!
Nous espérons vous retrouver nombreux pour de belles manches.
Transport en bus vers les décos, 4 navettes pour vous récupérer, paniers repas (pensez à emmener vos gourdes, nous essayons de minimiser le plastique), Ecocup pour le petit déjeuner, remise de prix.
Un diner en ferme auberge sera inclus dans le prix, ainsi qu’un tee-shirt. Des trackers vous seront fournis pour ceux qui n’ont pas de système Flymaster Live.

We the Paragliding Ligue of Area Grand Est (former Alsace-Vosges) are glad to invite you to our event of one complete flying week.
We gain our experience through several years of organization of competitions : Palz Open , an Elite French comp called Florival and the French youth championship in 2018. The team that will help you through the week will be all members of the “competition commission” and some of our League members .
Our program include all transportation and retrieve trackers, lunch pack a mid week diner at a ferme auberge all in a nice ambiance.
As foreigners you are welcome, wherever you come from, 30 places are reserved for you.
If you like cycling, we start the competition a Sunday as the Saturday 22th, the Men French Cycling tour will be in Markstein, helicopters will be flying everywhere, restricted flying area will be everywhere, more interesting to go see the cycling than training !!!!

Selection and entry fee
SÉLECTION
100 places disponibles, dont 30 réservées aux pilotes internationaux, et 10 pour l’organisation.
Sélection basée sur l'ordre chronologique des inscriptions. Vous devez avoir une licence FAI en cours de validité.
Les inscriptions ouvriront le 30 janier 2023 à 12h00 UTC+1.
Les sélections débuteront le 28 février 2023.
PAIEMENT
Si une place vous est proposée vous aurez 15 jours pour confirmer votre intérêt et effectuer le paiement des frais d'inscription. Après 15 jours, vous retournerez à la fin de la liste d'attente, la place sera attribuée aux suivants et vous devrez attendre d’être de nouveau sélectionné.
Les frais d'inscription sont de 220 €. La réservation se fera par Paypal 60€ et le solde sur place (liquide ou chèque).
Ne pas envoyer de règlement avant d’y avoir été invité par mail.

SELECTION
100 places available, 30 reserved for international pilots, and 10 wild card for organization.
Selections based on chronological order of registrations. You must have a valid FAI sporting licence.
Registration will open on 30th January at 12h00 UTC+1.
Selection will begin on 28th February 2023.
PAYMENT
After the invitation email, you have 15 days to confirm your interest and pay the entry fee. After 15 days, you will return to the end of the waiting list, the place will be allocated to those next in line and you will have to wait to be selected again.
The registration fee is 220 €. Confirmation will be done by Paypal 60€, the remaining amount will be on site (Paypal or cash)

Requirement for Pilots to enter this competition:
- All pilots must hold a valid FAI sport license and shall be of sufficient standard to meet the demands of an international competition. Helmet with norm CE EN 966, harness with protector and reserve system. Paragliders must be flown in their certified weight range. Only Paragliders with EN or CCC certification are allowed. Organizers have the right to refuse any glider of not acceptable standard or configuration.
- Documentary proof of insurance covering public liability risk could be presented to the organizers before the start of the competition, as well as a personal accident insurance covering medical assistance and reparation.
- All pilots fly on their own responsibility. Retrieval along the main roads and official shuttle service to takeoff/ bomb out will be organized. Landing info to HQ 20 min after landing.
Documents required at registration

FAI Sporting Licence
Issued by your local NAC on behalf of the FAI. You cannot normally compete in an FAI event without one. Contact your National Association (NAC)

National Licence
The organiser requires you to present your National flying licence.

Signed Application form
You will need to sign an applicaton form at the venue. Usually the organiser will provide it on arrival.

Identification documents needed
You will need to provide photo ID on arrival. This could be Passport, Driving Licence or National ID, for example.

Liability Insurance
You must provide the organiser with a copy of your liability (3rd party) insurance documents

Rescue/Medical Insurance
You must provide the organiser with a copy of your medical, rescue and repatriation insurance. You can purchase Global Rescue cover from Airtribune
Cancellation Policy
Plus de 2 semaines avant le début, vous serez entièrement remboursés !!!
2 semaines avant la compétition, et que nous avons déjà commandé les tee shirts, nous gardons 30€.
1 semaine avant la compétition, 100 % des frais de réservation Paypal seront gardés.
Remboursement intégral en cas de problème de santé grave.
Si NOUS devons annuler la compétition (Covid / météo)
Remboursement 100% des frais d'inscription
Nous vous proposerons l'envoi du tee shirt de la compétition contre quelques Euros.

If you cancel your registration more than 2 weeks before the start you will be fully reimburse.
2 weeks before the comp, if we have purhased the tee shirts 30€ will be kept by organization/ we ship you the tee shirt.
1 week before the comp 100% of the Paypal reservation money will be kept.
If Cancelation is on OUR demand (Covid / weather)

The Headquarter is at the main landing field Aérotec between Fellering and Oderen on the Wagga Camping place. This is 60km from the Airport Mulhouse. You can drive by car in 50min. The nearest railwaystation is in Fellering.
