Bienvenidos a una travesía sin precedentes por el corazón de una de las geografías más imponentes y desafiantes de Colombia, el Suroeste Antioqueño.
Esta carrera de *Hike & Fly* no es solo una competencia de resistencia física y estrategia de vuelo; es un homenaje a la indomable geografía antioqueña y a la cultura que late entre sus montañas.
Nuestra aventura arranca en la cuna de la historia de la región: el caluroso y colonial municipio de **Santa Fe de Antioquia**. Desde las riberas del Río Cauca, rodeados de arquitectura bicentenaria y una atmósfera vibrante, los atletas encenderán sus trackers y desafiarán su cuerpo, caminando por senderos ancestrales de arrieros, entre cafetales y pueblos de montaña.
El Concepto de esta carrera:
Una carrera sin asistencia, donde cada piloto debe cargar con su equipo de vuelo todo el tiempo y auto abastecerse de alimento, bebidas y recarga de baterias. La ruta esta diseñada de tal forma que siempre tendran pueblitos o poblaciones en el camino.
Tedremos 2 categorias:
CATEGORIA PRO: Para atletas que ya tengan experiencia en carreras de hike and fly.
CATEGORIA ADVENTURE: Para deportistas aficionados , que tengan un estado fisico decente y un buen pilotaje que quieran vivir esta aventura.
El Task se publicara una semana antes de la largada, cada baliza sera la plaza de cada pueblo, donde el piloto podra llegar volando y aterrizara en las afueras del pueblo, caminara hacia la plaza principal y debera tomar una selfie en la catedral del parque principal y luego continuara su rumbo al siguiente waypoint despegando de la montaña del pueblo. En caso de que ya sea muy tarde para continuar, el deportista podria quedarse a dormir en este lugar.
En cada pueblo pueden encontrar varias opciones de hospedaje , comida y bebida, la gente los recibira muy amablemente.

Welcome to an unprecedented journey through the heart of one of Colombia's most imposing and challenging regions, Southwest Antioquia.

This *Hike & Fly* race is not just a competition of physical endurance and flight strategy; it's a tribute to the untamed Antioquian landscape and the culture that thrives among its mountains.
Our adventure begins in the cradle of the region's history: the warm, colonial town of **Santa Fe de Antioquia**. From the banks of the Cauca River, surrounded by two-hundred-year-old architecture and a vibrant atmosphere, athletes will turn on their trackers and challenge their bodies, walking along ancestral muleteer trails, through coffee plantations and mountain villages.
The Concept of this race:
An unsupported race, where each pilot must carry their own flight equipment at all times and be self-sufficient in food, drinks, and battery recharging. The route is designed so that there will always be small towns or villages along the way.

We will have two categories:

PRO CATEGORY: For athletes who already have experience in hike and fly races.

ADVENTURE CATEGORY: For amateur athletes with decent physical fitness and good piloting skills who want to experience this adventure.
The task will be published one week before the start. Each waypoint will be the town square, where the pilot can fly and land on the outskirts of town. They will then walk to the main square and take a selfie at the cathedral in the main park before continuing to the next waypoint by taking off from the town's mountain. If it is too late to continue, the athlete can stay overnight in this location.
In each town, you can find various lodging, food, and drink options. The locals will welcome you warmly.
