Since the BPRA's inception in 2016 we have seen a European champion, a World Champion, a Gold Worlds team and a Silver Worlds team. We have 6 pilots in the top 100 WPRA and we have proven time and again that we are one of the best, if not the best country in the world circuit. Russ has held the WPRS number one spot, been World Champion, and has been knighted or something, he now only answers to Sir Ogden… All jokes aside we have seen massive momentum over the last 7 or 8 years, we have more PWC pilots than ever and we are currently the third-ranked country in the world. Not bad for mud islands, essentially, we’ve done really well.

If you are reading this you have decided to be a part of this epic journey, this is no mean feat. We want to give the energy that we have to the people most serious about carrying the torch into the future. We expect you to make sacrifices for competitions, we expect you to organise your lives in such a way this becomes a priority.

Out of 7000 or so British pilots, you are the few whose responsibility it is to not only maintain but improve our current standing on the world competition scene. I want you to feel that weight of responsibility, and then step up to become the best you can be.

Joining the race Academy is not a magic pill. we do not have a matrix chip to make you a better pilot you have to put the work in to push yourselves and to dedicate yourself to this sport. We have created a community of sharing, but you must put the work in yourselves. If you don't turn up to the boot camp events, and if you aren't doing at least 4 competitions a year you may never reach your full potential and the BPRA may not have much to offer you. It is your responsibility to become better, we are just here to guide you. If you don’t do competitions, you will never be good at competitions it is as simple as that, so clear your calendar and get signed up, YOU have to do the work. We rely on a community of sharing so any knowledge that you gain create a discussion and pass it on to your fellow members because together we are stronger.

And now for what to do this year:
1. you must register to this event in Airtribune and pay your registration fee.
This is mandatory, without doing this you will not be considered a part of the BPRA. This allows us to have your most recent contact details, the colour of the kit you fly, your insurance details, and your next of kin should we need it. By registering you agree to our T&C’s which can also be found at the link below;

2. Join the BPRA CoachNow app. Use the link below to join the app, we will be using the app as a library of our teachings or any useful information that you might find. At the moment it is not populated but over the next couple of years, we will work to create a hub of knowledge for everyone to access. Remember that one of the BPRA’s strengths is the sharing of knowledge, it is at the core of what we are trying to achieve, so if you have anything to add to CoachNow or you see anything that would be useful to your fellow members please post it.
