Main Takeoff: Cozia, Valcea County. Orientation: SE, S, SW
Access to the take off is done by bus and by car (60-90 minutes).
Cozia venue offers many possibilities for flying XC tasks.

Foreign pilots are welcomed to compete alongside Top Romanian Pilots, who have besides the local flying knowledge also task(among them PWC) wins to their credit.

FAI Sporting Licence
Issued by your local NAC on behalf of the FAI. You cannot normally compete in an FAI event without one. Contact your National Association (NAC)

The FAI IPPI card is an International card that states your skill level. It is issued by your National Association and matches the level or your flying Licence

The organiser requires you to present your National flying licence.

You will need to sign an applicaton form at the venue. Usually the organiser will provide it on arrival.

You will need to sign a waiver or release document to show you understand the risks. Usually the organiser will provide it on arrival.

Accommodation and Activities
1. For tight budget call at: - "Popas Turistic Cozia", on Peak, 200 m close to main Take Off. Cost - 10 Euro/bed/night without breakfast
2. For those with a midrange budget: Hotel Teilor, Organization Team is also accommodated in same Hotel. Cost - 40 Euro/double room/night without breakfast
3. For those who prefer a luxurious house: Hotel Orizont. Cost - 90 Euro/double room/night, breakfast, dinner, access to spa, ice shower, jakuzzi, mineral water swimming spa included.
We hope that we don't have cancelled days, but if we will, we can arrange a bunch of activities:
1. "Ocnele mari" - The abandoned salt mine is hosting sports like volleyball and soccer, contains an underground church and a wine cellar. There are volleyball courts, basketball, football, tennis, billiards, and minicarting.
2. Polovragi Monastery - The monastery dates back to the 14th century and is known for its rich cultural heritage. It was founded by the ruler of Wallachia, Prince Nicolae Alexandru Basarab, and gained prominence during the reign of Constantin Brancoveanu. The architectural style of the monastery showcases a combination of Byzantine and Romanian influences, making it a fascinating sight to behold.
3. Muierilor Cave - Dating back to the Paleolithic era, Muierilor Cave(Cave of Women) is renowned for its impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations, which have been shaped by centuries of underground water erosion. Exploring the cave, visitors can marvel at the stunning rock formations and learn about the geological processes that formed them.
The Cave of Women is also famous for its archaeological significance. In the 1980s, archaeologists discovered numerous artifacts and remains of prehistoric humans, including tools and bones, dating back over 30,000 years.
