Event info
Ivanec Open 2021 competition will be held in Ivanec from 24th till 27th June +28.06, with reserve dates 1st till 4th July 2021. +5.07. (Spare dates are used only if we do not see the window to perform 2 races in first 4 days.)
The site is famous in Croatia for the best XC flying potential on flatland.
Due to Take off-limits, there is a plan to accept 60 pilots.
Competition entry requirements:
Valid pilot license and valid FAI sporting license
IPPI card level 5
Medical insurance covering paragliding (proof will be checked at competition registration)
Third-party liability insurance covering paragliding (proof will be checked at competition registration)
Unmodified and certified helmet (EN 966), harness (EN 1651), and paraglider (EN 926/2 or CCC), rescue parachute,
VHF radio & (137.975MHz) ;
Pilots must have a Smartphone with an "AIRTRIBUNE app" or FlyMe app installed for live tracking, and WhatsApp.
Your glider must have a valid proof of airworthiness (valid technical check if gliders are older than 2 years),
You need to fly the glider inside a certified weight range!!!
CROATIAN PILOTS ONLY- must have valid medical check not older than 6 months

Selection and entry fee
- ENTRY FEE from May 02nd till 15th June 120 € (30+90 eur)
- ENTRY FEE from 16th June: 140 €(full payment)
Payment is possible by Paypal or by bank transfer.
Sending it "to a friend and family" avoids the fees and gives more money for competition prizes and event organizing.

Documents required at registration

FAI Sporting Licence
Issued by your local NAC on behalf of the FAI. You cannot normally compete in an FAI event without one. Contact your National Association (NAC)

FAI IPPI Card
The FAI IPPI card is an International card that states your skill level. It is issued by your National Association and matches the level or your flying Licence

National Licence
The organiser requires you to present your National flying licence.

Signed Application form
You will need to sign an applicaton form at the venue. Usually the organiser will provide it on arrival.

Signed Waiver/Release form
You will need to sign a waiver or release document to show you understand the risks. Usually the organiser will provide it on arrival.

Identification documents needed
You will need to provide photo ID on arrival. This could be Passport, Driving Licence or National ID, for example.

Liability Insurance
You must provide the organiser with a copy of your liability (3rd party) insurance documents
Cancellation Policy
• In case the event is fully pre-cancelled by organiser, including reserve dates, due to the bad weather conditions, unless The Nacional HQ for CORONA situation makes a decision that disables the organisation of competition, the organiser will keep the 20€ of the participation fee.
