Arcones flying site is located on the north side of the Central System and the province of Segovia. It is one of the most popular and reckoned flight zones in central Spain.
It offers magnificent possibilities to fly in all directions. Cloud base of 4,000m is quite common during the summer. Still there are ceiling height limitations in Madrid area.
The wide temperature reach the long streets of clouds that often organized and spread north or northeast.
Most often the flights are made to the east, although there have been good distances in all directions and the days when there is little wind, you can make long trips, out and return and triangles.
Here, in 2012 Ramon Martin Elvira established the current record of Spain 256 km long.
