The TIROL OPEN in an high potential flying area between the Kaiser in the North and the Pinzgau in the South. Tasks which will lead you over the nice slopes of Kitzbühel, and the rocky parts of the Kaiser and a Starting place next to the Mausefalle, the well-known jump of the legendary alpine skiing downhill race.

direkt an der Bergstation über der Mausefalle vor dem Starthaus.
NN-Höhe: 1640m
Einstufung: leicht für Paraglider kein Windsack nur Fahnen
Startplatz SO:
Asten ca. 200 m westlich der Bergstation links vom Weg zur Ehrenbachhöhe
NN-Höhe: 1660m
Einstufung: mittel für Paraglider Windsack am SP
Landeplatz:
Direkt südlich der, Talstation große Wiese mit großem Windsack.

Each pilot has to show a
- valid pilot licence for XC flights
- FAI sporting licence
- valid liability insurance (with sufficient coverage according to Austrian standards)
Glider has to be certified. Helmet and rescue chute are mandatory!!
Participation is at your own perils and risk!
The event organizer refuses any liability for possible damage or accidents before, during and after the race!
The entry fee includes:
- transport to launch (with the cable car)
- organisation of a retrieval to HQ
- event schedule, maps etc.
- eventually pilots' dinner
