Event info
The X-Eryri is a hike and fly challenge with the added opportunity of being a vol biv adventure should you so choose. It is based within the catchment area of Snowdonia Sky Sports which covers the vast majority of Snowdonia National Park. The race will start on Saturday morning from Llanberis and you will then have until late afternoon on the Sunday to get as many points as you can and return to Llanberis. Most of the turn points (TP) are mountain tops. Depending on the TP’s proximity to the start it gives them different values, the further away the more they are worth. You have to make a judgement based on your skill level, fitness, the weather, the terrain, other competitors and how much you want to throw the dice as to the route you decide to take.
Selection and entry fee
Entries are initially only open to competitors who entered in 2021, it will be announced here when we will be inviting other entries. IF YOU DID NOT ENTER THE XERYRI 2021 THEN PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP FOR 2022 YET AS YOU WILL NOT BE ENTERED.
Entries will be prioritised on a 1st come 1st served basis of the people that have purchased a ticket for the first 7 days after the event details go live. Once those initial 7 days are over it will revert to a 1st come 1st served basis of the people that have purchased a ticket and have returned their registration form.
