Accommodation and Activities
Due to it being a Bank holiday weekend we have arranged with a local farmer to have a field which is situated in Nant Peris next to some public toilets. There are unfortunately no showers but there is a river running next to it should you be brave enough.
How to get here
Follow directions to Llanberis village and make all attempts to park responsibly. Be aware that you and the rest of the world will be trying to find cheap/free parking spaces and that these are limited. The parking in the lagoons remains free and should be available if you arrive late on Friday or early on Saturday morning. If not there is paid parking by the slate museum across the lake and larger park and ride areas up the pass.
Ideally if you are coming with a supporter then they would move the car from the village during the day as they follow you.
Please try to avoid parking in residential areas as this is a sure fire way to irk the locals towards paragliders in general!
