ATTENETION NEW DATE 29.05.-01-06.2025 The X-Race is a multi-day Hike & Fly race with predefined turnpoints and three different categories. You can find all information and registration on our homepage at www.xrace.cc
The event comprises three main competitions:
Pro Race:
Part of the World and Austrian Championships in Hike & Fly.
Up to 300 km straight-line distance with 5–6 turnpoints.
Three days, spanning three Austrian states.
Designed for professionals and experienced Hike & Fly pilots.
Race start: June 6.
Adventure Race:
Up to 100 km straight-line distance with 2–3 turnpoints.
Two days, ideal for adventurers or Hike & Fly newcomers.
Shuttle service available for unsupported athletes.
Race start: June 7.
Sprint Race:
A compact competition with up to 50 km straight-line distance and one turnpoint.
One day, perfect for beginners or clubs, focusing on the joy and excitement of flying.
Race start: June 8.
Selection and entry fee
Documents required at registration

FAI Sporting Licence
Issued by your local NAC on behalf of the FAI. You cannot normally compete in an FAI event without one. Contact your National Association (NAC)

FAI IPPI Card
The FAI IPPI card is an International card that states your skill level. It is issued by your National Association and matches the level or your flying Licence

National Licence
The organiser requires you to present your National flying licence.

Signed Application form
You will need to sign an applicaton form at the venue. Usually the organiser will provide it on arrival.

Signed Waiver/Release form
You will need to sign a waiver or release document to show you understand the risks. Usually the organiser will provide it on arrival.

Identification documents needed
You will need to provide photo ID on arrival. This could be Passport, Driving Licence or National ID, for example.

Liability Insurance
You must provide the organiser with a copy of your liability (3rd party) insurance documents

Rescue/Medical Insurance
You must provide the organiser with a copy of your medical, rescue and repatriation insurance. You can purchase Global Rescue cover from Airtribune

- Breakfast: 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM
- Weather briefing, live track check at 9:00 AM
- Photo start at 9:45 AM
- Start: 10:00 AM
- Race end: 10:00 PM with mandatory feedback
