Event info

Official FAI-2 competition Zagorje Open 2019 is Croatian National competition in cross country flying will be held in Ivanec from 20th till 23rd June .2019 with spare dates 24th and 25th June 2019. (Spare dates are used if they do not perform up to 3 races in a given time.)
The site is famous in Croatia for best XC flying potential on flatland.

Due to Take off limits, there is a plan to accept 50 pilots (max.60) :
Priority will go to :
-Croatian pilots (national competition): 30 pilots
-first come first serve basis for another 30 pilots.
-after 20th May 2019, there is no more priority entrance for Croatian pilots!

Competition entry requirements:
Valid pilot license and valid FAI sporting license
IPPI card level 5
Medical insurance covering paragliding (proof will be checked at competition registration)
Third party liability insurance covering paragliding (proof will be checked at competition registration)
Unmodified and certified helmet (EN 966), harness (EN 1651), and paraglider (EN 926/2 or CCC), rescue parachute,
VHF radio & (137.975MHz) ;
Pilots must have a Smartphone with an "AIRTRIBUNE app" installed for live tracking, "XC Pilot Retrieve app" for retrieve and WhatsApp.
Your glider must have valid proof of airworthiness (valid technical check if gliders are older than 2 years),
You need to fly the glider inside certified weight range!!!
CROATIAN PILOTS ONLY- must have valid medical check not older than 6 months

Selection and entry fee

- ENTRY FEE until May 20th: 115 € (pre-payment 60 € + 55 €)
- ENTRY FEE May 20th to June 18th: 140 € (pre-payment 85 € + 55 €)
- ENTRY FEE after June 18th and on the day of registration: 150 €(full payment)

Discount 15 € for young pilots below 25 years old! (pre-payment + 40€)

Payment is possible by Paypal or by bank transfer, for croatian pilots only by bank transfer.
For place confirmation, you need to register and pay the full entry fee

The Entry fee includes:
• ID card & safety/contact information.
• Transportation on Take-Off and back to HQ
• Upload of turn-points with GPS coordinates.
• GPS track-log downloads.

• Competition souvenirs- T-shirt.
• Emergency rescue and first aid medical service

Payment and refund rules
• In case of cancellation less than 30 days before the competition we will not refund you the pre-payment. If you paid the full payment in the registration process, we will refund you the value over pre-payment - 15€ for transaction costs and work.
• Change of pilots: You can change your place with some other pilots until 5 days before the event. Later this is not an option anymore, we need some time to prepare everything for the competition. We have some work with each change, a price for the changing name of the competitor is 5€.
• In case of organizer cancellation of the event based on weather prediction, the organizer will keep 60 € per pilot for covering organizing costs, transaction costs and work, all other parts of payments will be refunded to the pilots.

1. in headquarter is 5 double bedroom, big terrace, and grill. Price is 75kn/person (10€/per)
2. in headquarter yard will be possible to camp with a tent, or with camper-van on the parking place. Price is 40kn/person, with use of the bathroom.
