Aukstaitijos CUP 2015 competition will take place from 23 to 24 of May near Panevezys, Lithuania.
Competitors will be towed up with payout winch. Towing will take place on roads near Panevezys In case of not suitable weather conditions, organizers will choose optional starting fields to start from.
Flying site
Panevezys is a town in North Lithuania located about 150 km north from Vilnius and 247 km East from Klaipeda and the Baltic sea.
The place offers a fine flatland flying. Cloudbase in summer is approximately 1500 m.

Plane
The nearest is Vilnius International Airport. Web site www.vilnius-airport.lt/en/
A special train runs from Vilnius Railway Station to the airport on a regular basis. A railway stop, stairs, passenger lift and lighting, as well as video surveillance system for passenger safety, are installed right outside the airport’s passenger terminal. A covered pedestrian walkway connects the airport’s terminal to the railway stop and is lit up at night.
