Flying site

The competition will mainly be flown from the world famous Chabre ridge, which provides excellent opportunities for cross country flying both for experienced and fledgling pilots. Depending on weather conditions, other sites in the area may also be flown. Long been known as a mecca for cross country flying, Laragne provides stronger and more reliable weather conditions than the UK. It's large areas of mountains and wide, flat valley floors for easy landings provide the perfect playground for pilots to race around, allowing cross country veterans to increase their distances and speed and for newbies to develop their skills in predictable conditions.

Selection and entry fee

Pilots entering the competition will be selected in the order that they confirm and pay the entry fee. There are no reserved places.
