The “push” will only be exercised on the lane, announcing to the corresponding judge “PILOT (NAME) X PRESSING” from that moment the pilots will have 1 minute to evaluate the conditions and 1 minute to take off, always in acceptable conditions. If they decide not to take off they will have to withdraw from the lane and go to the end of the line.
Pilots who are not fully ready to take off will not be accepted on the line. The ramp judge is the only one who authorizes the takeoff to ALL pilots, after verification of equipment.

Canoa - Manabí - Ecuador
Best way to reach Canoa is to fly either to Guayaquil or Quito and arrange transportation with local pilots or rent a car and fit it to carry your glider. The travel to Canoa from both cities is around 5 to 6 hours.

If you need transportation, write us and we will organize it for you for a fee depending on your needs.

Plane
Ecuador International airports are Quito www.aeropuertoquito.aero
and Guayaquil www.tagsa.aero.

Bus
Every 30 minutes there is a bus connection between San Vicente, Canoa, Bahia de Caraquez or Tosagua. From Bahia there are 4 busses daily that leave to Quito (two in the morning (6:30AM, 9AM) and two in the evening). There is a direct bus that goes from Quito to Canoa, it leaves at 11:30 PM from Quitumbe in the South of Quito. You arrive to Canoa between 4:00 and 5:00 in the morning. The bus from Canoa to Quito leaves at 9:45 PM and arrives to Quito between 4:00 and 5:00 AM. It is strongly recommended to buy the tickets one day before you travel so you can make your ride as planned. Each ticket costs Us,12.
If you're arriving from Guayaquil, take a quick taxi from the airport to the Terminal Terrestre bus station. From there, Reina del Camino, Cocatur, or Cooperativa offer a range of daily buses. Most go to Bahia/San Vicente and either take the bus or a 15-20 min taxi ($6-8) to Canoa. It's perfectly possible that a bus operator will switch you to a colectivo bus (versus a directo) in Portoviejo that will then pass through Canoa.
