Croatian National XC Open - Istra 2021. will be held in Croatian region Istria, city of Buzet- Raspadalica take-off 26.-29.08.2021., reserve dates 02.-05.09.2021.
Selection and entry fee
- ENTRY FEE from March 21st till August 1st = 150 € (pre-payment 20 € + 130 € till August 1st)
- ENTRY FEE after August 2nd = 180 € (full payment)
Note: 20 € pre-payment guarantees you reserved place in the competition till August 1st. If the full payment is not done till August 1st, your place will be offered to another pilot.
Payment is possible by bank transfer.

IF YOUR STATUS IS "WAITING LIST", WAIT FOR CONFIRMATION FROM ORGANISERS.
The Entry fee includes:
- daily sandwich
- collection of flight data, calculating and posting results
- prizes and trophies for winners
Competition entry requirements:
Valid pilot license and valid FAI sporting license
IPPI card level 5
Medical insurance covering paragliding (proof will be checked at competition registration)
Third-party liability insurance covering paragliding (proof will be checked at competition registration)
Unmodified and certified helmet (EN 966), harness (EN 1651), and paraglider (EN 926/2 or CCC), rescue parachute, VHF radio & (137.975MHz) ;
Pilots must have a Smartphone with an "AIRTRIBUNE app" or FlyMe app installed for live tracking, and WhatsApp.
Your glider must have a valid proof of airworthiness (valid technical check if gliders are older than 2 years),
You need to fly the glider inside a certified weight range!!!
CROATIAN PILOTS ONLY- must have valid medical check not older than 6 months
Documents required at registration
FAI Sporting Licence
Issued by your local NAC on behalf of the FAI. You cannot normally compete in an FAI event without one. Contact your National Association (NAC)
The organiser requires you to present your National flying licence.
Signed Application form
You will need to sign an applicaton form at the venue. Usually the organiser will provide it on arrival.
Signed Waiver/Release form
You will need to sign a waiver or release document to show you understand the risks. Usually the organiser will provide it on arrival.
You must provide the organiser with a copy of your liability (3rd party) insurance documents
In case the event is fully pre-canceled by the organizer, including reserve dates, due to the bad weather conditions, or CORONA situation (cancellation due to the National HQ decision) or similar higher force reason, the organizer will keep the 20€ of the participation fee.

29.08.2021. - 18:00-19:00 h prize-giving and closing ceremony
Reserve dates 02.-05.09.2021.
In case of cancellation of the race on the main dates, registration will be open 01.09.2021.- 20:00h-21:00h and 02.09.2021.- 07:00-08:30h.
Location of the HQ will be announced according to pandemic situation and government rules at the time of the competition.
11:00h - Briefing at the take-off
13:00h - Start of the race (aprox.)
16:00h - Retrieval
19:00h - Provisional results for the day
Accommodation and Activities
Camping is possible at the take off
or at any available accommodation in some of the many villages in Buzet area.
