Event info

This would be the 8th edition of the "Hombres Pájaro" Hang Gliding competitions in Colombia. Great weather, great people, and everytime more challenging than the previous one, with more international pilots attending.
Every year we have more foreing pilots thanks to the previous events and their success, as the hard work put by the organizer, Mike Glennon.
The event has used places like Roldanillo, Trujillo (20km south of Roldanillo) and last two years, so as this one, in Pie de Chinche (90km South of Roldanillo).
So we are on the same valley. The selection of this take off site brings the best take off conditions all around the Valley, making for a very safety and friendly take off, with plenty of open space for rigging the gliders. The conditions can be a little trickier than the ones find on Roldanillo, but allows for a fun, yet technical and demanding competition that can challenge event the more experience foreing and local pilots.
