Ivanec Open is back! After few years ,Official FAI-2 competition- Ivanec Open and Croatian National competition in cross country flying will be held in Ivanec from 22-25.6.2018.
Site is famouse in Croatia for best XC flying potentional on flatland.
Due to Take off limits, there is plan to accept 50 pilots (max.60) :
Priority will goes to :
-Croatian pilots (national competition): 30 pilots
-first come first serve basis for another 30 pilots.
-after 22.05.18, there is no more prioriti entrance for Croatian pilots!
Competition entry requirements:
Valid pilot license and valid FAI sporting license
IPPI card level 5
Medical insurance covering paragliding (proof will be checked at competition registration)
Third party liability insurance covering paragliding (proof will be checked at competition registration)
Unmodified and certified helmet (EN 966), harness (EN 1651), and paraglider (EN 926/2 or CCC), rescue parachute,
VHF radio & (137.975MHz) ; mobile phone. Your glider must have valid proof of airworthiness (valid tehnical check if gliders is older than 2 years),
you need to fly the glider inside certified weight range!!!
CROATIAN PILOTS ONLY- must have valid medical check not older than 6 months

Selection and entry fee
- ENTRY FEE May 23 to June 15th: 115 € / 870kn (pre-payment 70 € + 45 €)
- ENTRY FEE June 16 - June 22: 125 € / 930kn
Discount 15 € for young pilots below 25 years old! (pre-payment + 30€)
Selection:
-Croatian pilots (national competition): 30 pilots
-first come first serve basis for another 30 pilots.
Payment is possible by paypal or by bank transfer.

Accommodation and Activities
IMPORTANT NOTICE!
Because of few parallel events in city Ivanec (official day of city) there can be bit harder to find place to sleep.
Here are some possibilities:
1. in headquarter is 5 double bed room, big terrace and grill. Price is 75kn/person (10€/per)
2. in headquarter yard will be possible to camp with tent, or with camper-van on parking place. Price is 40kn/person, with use of bathroom. Reservation on tonilovrec@gmail.com.

3. "Izletište Jelenice" -ca. 2,5Km from HQ-a, with ca.20 beds in main building and bungalows. There is possible to have some good local food and drink. For Info you can call Branko on ++385(0)98 970 5040. http://izletiste-jelenice.com/pocetna/
4. "Grešna pilnica" - is ca. 8 Km from Ivanec. Great old-fashion stile, beautiful surroundings, good food. There is some 10 beds available. Owner has a Van and you can arrange a transportation to HQ and back with him. For Info call Žiga (++385(0)98 782 195) http://www.gresna-pilnica.com/
5. "Hotel Orin" - some 4,5Km from HQ is ths Hotel. You should say that you are Pilot to get 15% discount. For Info write on info@hotel-orion.hr , http://www.hotel-orion.hr/index.html
Because of "Days of Ivanec" maybe you should think about that in advance.
