We also gratefully acknowledge and thank the NSWHPG state association for their support through their Competition Funding Program.
The event will be sanctioned by SAFA and recognised by FAI as a Cat2 event.
We will utilize tracking systems, squiggly, puretrack and local technology throughout for SAFETY, pilot tracking and retrieve logistics.
We are aiming for controlled daily tasks with some innovative challenges testing both tenacity and efficiency over outright speed over a defined course. We will be aiming towards TDD tasking which has much emphasis on testing pilot tenacity xc decision making rather than full on side by side racing.
We suggest familiarity with TDD event tasking , details and philosophies behind this are at https://tdd.fly-air3.com/
Strictly for pilots flying wings up to en C class only. Defined by SRS wing criteria.
Event Pilots are very welcome to free-fly days outside the event period, First event day will be Sunday 31st Jan with Saturday 6th Feb . There will be no official training day.
