The NORMA RACE 2024 is a 4-days international cross country FAI 2 paragliding competition promoted by the ASD Parapendio Roma, Organized by the Aero Club dei Sibillini with the collaboration with the FIVL (Italian Free Flight Association), sponsored by the Municipality of Norma, the Lazio Region, included in the National Competition Calendar 2024 of the Aero Club of Italy, in the wonderful Norma (Latina) a few kilometers south of the most beautiful city in the world, Rome.
Flying site
The flying site is one of the most amazing and best equipped in Center of Italy, at the foot of Monti lepini, with a panorama that goes from Rome to Promontorio del Circeo. There is 1 main take-off at 400 meters of altitude.

Flying site
Selection and entry fee
• Remaining pilots using WPRS ranking system (ranking ref. date: December 31, 2023)
• 10 wild cards will be available to organizers
Selection will start on March 21, 2024 and selected pilots will receive the payment request. Pilots will have 7 days to pay the entry fee from the day they received our payment request, otherwise they will be replaced by the next in waiting list. In case of equal rankings, priority will be given to the first pilot who made the pre-registration. Registration to the competition becomes effective only after the entry fees payment. Confirmation will be sent to pilots by email and published in the list of confirmed participants. Pilots who won’t pay within the payment deadline, will be moved at the bottom of the selection list.
Organizers have the right to not accept the registration of pilots considered not eligible for safety reasons or in case the compliance with legal requirements cannot be verified.
Documents required at registration

FAI Sporting Licence
Issued by your local NAC on behalf of the FAI. You cannot normally compete in an FAI event without one. Contact your National Association (NAC)

FAI IPPI Card
The FAI IPPI card is an International card that states your skill level. It is issued by your National Association and matches the level or your flying Licence

National Licence
The organiser requires you to present your National flying licence.

Signed Application form
You will need to sign an applicaton form at the venue. Usually the organiser will provide it on arrival.

Signed Waiver/Release form
You will need to sign a waiver or release document to show you understand the risks. Usually the organiser will provide it on arrival.

Identification documents needed
You will need to provide photo ID on arrival. This could be Passport, Driving Licence or National ID, for example.

Liability Insurance
You must provide the organiser with a copy of your liability (3rd party) insurance documents

Rescue/Medical Insurance
You must provide the organiser with a copy of your medical, rescue and repatriation insurance. You can purchase Global Rescue cover from Airtribune
Cancellation Policy
The refund will be made at the end of the competition.
For cancellations received from April 01, 2023 until the start of the competition there won't be any refund.
