03 April, update (IT below):
We have tried to remain optimistic, but the Covid-19 pandemic is spreading all over the world, and in particular the quarantine in Italy has been prolonged at least until mid-April.
Since we are concerned about the safety of the pilots and their families, we have decided to cancel this event, with the hope that soon we will return to normal and color the sky with our gliders.
We wholeheartedly thank the volunteers who were ready to be involved, the private and public sectors that supported us, and the hundreds of pilots who registered for the PrePWC Cavallaria.
Our thoughts go to each of you and your families.

Abbiamo cercato di rimanere ottimisti, ma la pandemia di Covid-19 si sta diffondendo in tutto il mondo, e in particolare la quarantena in Italia è stata prolungata almeno fino a metà Aprile.
Poiché siamo preoccupati per la sicurezza dei piloti e delle loro famiglie, abbiamo deciso di annullare questo evento, con la speranza che presto si tornerà alla normalità ed a colorare il cielo con le nostre vele.
Ringraziamo con tutto il cuore i volontari che erano pronti per essere coinvolti, i settori privati e pubblici che ci hanno supportato, e le centinaia di piloti che si sono registrati alla prepwc cavallaria.
I nostri pensieri vanno a ciascuno di voi e alle vostre famiglie.

07 march, update: IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR THOSE WISHING TO ATTEND THE PREPWC CAVALLARIA.
PRE PWC CAVALLARIA will be held in June, and three months is a long shot, so we are optimistic that the race will regularly take place, yet at the same time we are aware that the current worldwide situation caused some disruption in travel and logistics , and some pilots may incur into issues traveling by air.
For these reasons we have decided to postpone the selection and therefore the request for payment of the fee to 03 APRIL, FRIDAY so that we can monitor the events without asking the pilots for any commitment at the moment. As soon as possibile we will update "selection" section with further details.

On 10/14 June, in the amazing scenary of Monte Cavallaria (Piedmont region, northwest of Italy), the PRE PWC CAVALLARIA 2020 will take place.
Cavallaria is an amazing place to fly, one of the best zones for free flight in Italy, also due to its high flyability!
The local Club has invested a lot of time and effort into this area so you will have many facilities you need at your fingertips, everything from the parking to the shower, the bar, efficient shuttles, and grassy takeoff and landing field.
However on the plus side you have a whole choice of attractions, bike excursions, climbing tracks and rivers, medieval castles, roman cities, and Ivrea, city of the 20th century, that is an ensemble of outstanding architectural quality that represents the work of Italian modernist designers and architects.
Well worth a week vacation!
Selection will start on March 09, 2020.
