Accommodation and Activities
How to get here
For international visitors, the main gateway to the Taquari Valley is Salgado Filho International Airport (POA), in Porto Alegre, southern Brazil. Depending on your departure city, you can fly to Porto Alegre directly or connect through a major Brazilian airport, such as São Paulo.
From Porto Alegre, continue by road to the flying areas around Encantado and Roca Sales. Allow approximately two to three hours, depending on traffic and your final destination. Renting a car or booking a private transfer is a practical option, especially when travelling with flying equipment. The usual route towards Encantado follows BR-386 towards Lajeado, then RS-130.
