Sokolica Open paragliding xc competition will be in our South part of Serbia - Kosovo. This year we have also 1 reserve date in case the weather is not favorable. It is the 2nd round of Serbian XC Paragliding league and also the second FAI cross country event in the country for the season of 2015.

Sokolica (hawks nest) is a hill located 10 km east from Zvecan Fortification, above town of Kosovska Mitrovica. It is overlooking a valley and offers a fine flying conditions over beautiful villages and pictures localities of Kosovo including the famous Sokolica Monastery dating back to 14th century.

Sokolica Open paragliding xc competition will be in our South part of Serbia - Kosovo. This year we have also 1 reserve date in case the weather is not favorable. It is the 2nd round of Serbian XC Paragliding league and also the second FAI cross country event in the country for the season of 2015. It is planned to be 15 - 17 of May with reserve date of 24 - 26 of July, 2015. Exact dates will be defined on the Wednesday of the week preceding the competition.

Teams
The maximum team size is 6 pilots (4 any gender + 2 junior or female). Team score for each task will be assembled from best 2 results (any gender) or junior or female.
Pilots
The requirements for a pilot to enter this competition are: to hold valid FAI and pilot license. To prove the airworthy of his glider. Not to exceed the maximum number of participants (the limit is 80).
Entry fee
39 Euro per pilot 35 Euro per guest pilot (no scoring) Entry fees will be paid by bank transfer till May 10, 2015 or during the registration. Bank details will be provided later.
The Entry fee includes: transport to the take-off and retrieve on the main route for all the registered pilots during all competition days upload of turnpoint’s GPS coordinates GPS tracklog download color map ID card lunch package, water competition shirt free access to all championship events and parties
Prize fund and scoring categories
Its results will be calculated for Serbian league, single and team results (4+2).
Its results will be calculated in overall category as single.
Its results will be calculated in overall (max EN-D or CCC) and sport (max EN C) if there is 6 competitors per category.
Woman and Junior challenge (less than 28 years old, flying max EN-C) are also scored separately, if they have minimum 4 competitors.
All categories compete for FAI points (WPRS).
Please, look at the local rules as well as FAI Rule book (section 7, class O), as this competition is FAI 2 category, which automatically implies all FAI rules.

Accommodation and Activities
Accomodation is in "Sportsko rekreativni centar" Zubin Potok.
There is possible to have other sport acctivities, in case of bad weather. Beautiful lake, swimming, MTB, hiking, basketball, football, etc...
How to get here
Zubin Potok is situated in south part of Serbia in Kosovo 370 km away from Belgrade. You need to have ID, or passport to get into Kosovo area.
