Event info
The UK's wildest hike and fly paragliding race is returning for 2027 - with the same race-to-goal format and epic location (Glencoe, Scotland) as the 2026 event.
In case of inclement weather, the race may be put back to the backup weekend.
Alternative Event Dates
If the event needs to be rescheduled, for example a poor weather forecast, then the organisers have selected the following dates to move the event to. See the Cancellation policy for how this may affect you if you are unable to attend the alternative dates.

The UK's wildest hike and fly paragliding race is returning for 2027 - with the same race-to-goal format and epic location (Glencoe, Scotland) as the 2026 event.

PLEASE NOTE: To participate in the X-Scotia you must have a functioning Garmin Inreach or Spot GPS Satellite tracker with two-way communication enabled. This is to allow backup tracking and emergency communication - mobile reception in the area is very poor.

Selection and entry fee
Entries paid after 15th January 2027 are £90.
Entries for SHPF members are £60; there is no increase to £90 following the 15th Jan.
