Comes to the XXXII edition the Trophy with the longest tradition in hang gliding competitions in Italy.

The competition has been included in the FAI calendar 2019 and is organized by Aero Club Lega Piloti in cooperation with Delta Club Laveno.

The flight area is in the Pre-Alps, on Lake Maggiore, in the North West of Italy, not far from Switzerland.
The location is defined, also by the most experienced pilots, a real "FLIGHT GYM" for its several and peculiar characteristics.

The TAKE-OFFS, thanks to the influence of Lake Maggiore, can be used all year round and comfortable to reach, thanks to the modern cableway that brings directly to Monte Sasso del Ferro.

The Sasso del Ferro ridge is generous, with thermals which in spring carry much above 2000 meters.
From Laveno and the nearby Monte Nudo there are considerable possibilities for long distance flights, as all the peaks of the Pre-Alps can be reached. To the East, up to Como and Lecco; to the North, on the Swiss inland Alps, and to the West, for those who don't have retrieve problems, beyond the Lake Maggiore, into the Valleys of Novara up to the Simplon Pass and towards Monte Rosa.
