Winch launched FAI CAT 2 Pilot XC competition alongside informal Club Pilot / Pilot event and XC competition. This is the conclusion of the 50th Anniversary Celebrations of Accuracy in the UK.
Selection and entry fee
Competition - BHPA Pilot rated with Tow environment, or equivalent.
Event - BHPA Club Pilot rated with Tow environment, or equivalent.
Evidence of currency within the tow environment within the last three months or at Meet Director's discretion

Selection will be on a first come, first served basis. Once we reach 30 pilots we will be full.
Payment details will be emailed to you after registration on AirTribune.

FAI IPPI Card
The FAI IPPI card is an International card that states your skill level. It is issued by your National Association and matches the level or your flying Licence

National Licence
The organiser requires you to present your National flying licence.

Liability Insurance
You must provide the organiser with a copy of your liability (3rd party) insurance documents

Rescue/Medical Insurance
You must provide the organiser with a copy of your medical, rescue and repatriation insurance. You can purchase Global Rescue cover from Airtribune

SCORING:
The competition will be scored using GPS traces. Your instrument needs to be capable of this, or use your phone to record, and then emailed to the scorer. If using an instrument please bring any cable you need to retrieve the traces. Phone options include, on Android, Tracker (https://mycloudbase.com/tracker/download.htm) or on Apple (iOS), FlySkyHy, https://apps.apple.com/us/app/flyskyhy/id516879039. Accommodation and Activities
Local accommodation:

- Travelodge Swindon West - 13 miles from airfield
- Premier Inn Swindon - 9 miles from airfield
Camping available on site - £5pppn
Barrack Accommodation - £20pp for four nights. Please contact Arthur Bentley directly if you would like to book a bed in the accommodation block – arthur.bentley600@icloud.com. To stay in the barracks, you will need to obtain a pass.
Anyone wanting to get into the barracks for showers, toilet or food will need to book in at the guardroom and obtain a pass. To get a pass you will need to provide identification such as a passport or driving licence. Please bring these with you.
