After an epic and booming event in Montclar in 2025, the Belgian paragliding open is returning to Spain for 2026. We are hosted by the community of Pedro Bernardo for a mix of flats and mountains in the Spanish sun !

Pedro Bernardo is a flying site located in the province of Ávila, Castile and León, in central Spain. It is located on the south side of the Central System in the Sierra de Gredos and looking towards the valley of Tietê.

Event info
After an epic and booming event in Montclar in 2025, the Belgian paragliding open is returning to Spain for 2026. We are hosted by the community of Pedro Bernardo for a mix of flats and mountains in the Spanish sun !
Selection and entry fee
Including : Organization, trackers, retrieve, lunchpacket, docter present on takeoff and goal, midweek meal and closing dinner. Transportation allows to move to Piedrahita or Pitolero if the weather forces us too.
You'll have to choose your options while you'll receive your confirmation of selection.
Total of your entry fee has to be paid to the organizing bank account.
The bank account details will be sent via email once selection is made.
You must have a valid FAI Sporting Licence. For the Belgians this means having an XC Licence AND shelling out 5€ to FBVL-BVVF.
75% of the places are reserved for the Belgian pilots.
Registration will open on sunday 19th of January 2025 at 12:00 Brussels time.
First selection will happen on 02nd February at 17:00 Brussels time.
Criteria will include, speed of registration and WPRS ranking.
Documents required at registration

FAI Sporting Licence
Issued by your local NAC on behalf of the FAI. You cannot normally compete in an FAI event without one. Contact your National Association (NAC)
Cancellation Policy
(This policy will be confirmed on selection day, and may be adjusted dependent on the number of people in the waiting list)
If you cancel, you're back to the bottom of waiting list. Belgians can only use their nationality once.
If you cancel 2 months or earlier before the start of the event, you get 100% of your fee back (minus the possible bank transfer fees if there are any), independently of the presence of people in the waiting list
If you cancel between 1 month and 2 months before the start of the event, you get 50% of your fee back, independently of the presence of people in the waiting list
If you cancel between 2 weeks and 1 month before the start of the event, you get 30% of your fee back, independently of the presence of people in the waiting list
If you cancel after that, there will be no refund.
In all cases, you're welcome to come and have a beer.

Monday 6 - saturday 11 July up to 6 scoring tasks (see daily schedule)
Wednesday 8 July: Mid week dinner
Saturday 11: prize ceremony, dinner and pilots party
