The British Paragliding Racing Academy (BPRA)
BPRA members only!
We are the British Paragliding Racing Academy and our mission is to design and deliver a competition pilot development program, in order that the current British Team and the future British Team become a formidable force within the international paragliding circuit.
The British Paragliding Racing Academy, supported by the BHPA, aims to enlist and train future world class paraglider pilots whilst simultaneously helping our existing team pilots . We are creating a program of learning and experiences in and around Europe to develop the skills necessary to win paragliding competitions.
We will enlist the skills of our existing competition heros and call on the guidance from world class paragliding professionals to deliver a first class track into top-level competition flying. With that in mind, we call on, ONLY, the most passionate and dedicated of trainees. You will be expected to commit your time and resources into the program for not only the upcoming season, but for 5 years or more. We will be traveling to European flying meccas and competition venues around the world to learn from the masters.
Our yearly program will involve SIV training and master classes with top level trainers, pilots and mentors. There will be race training boot camps, fitted in around existing competitions and for the pilots competing in PWC’s, ongoing training and support to help our current elite athletes reach their full potential.
