Hang Gliding Italian Open 2021 is a FAI 2 competition that assigns the title of Italian Champion (class 1, sport class, class 5) and the XXXVII Guarnieri Trophy.
The flight area is that of Monte Avena (Belluno) which for over 30 years has been the venue for international hang gliding and paragliding competitions and includes in addition to Valbelluna and Alpago, the Dolomitic area, the area of Monte Grappa and Valsugana in Trentino.
Flying site
Feltre-Monte Avena is in Veneto (North-east Italy) at 30 km from Belluno. The take-off on Monte Avena is at 1400 meters above sea level and allows take-off in a grassy area for up to 80 hang gliders. The landing is 300 meters above sea level in Arten just below take-off.

Selection and entry fee
Participation to foreign pilots is open for places not assigned to Italian pilots within the maximum foreseen which is limited to 80.

SELECTION:
Until the maximum number of participants is reached, it will be possible to register and to be selected for the event.
ENTRY FEE
Regular entry fee is 150,00 € untill 24 May 2020.
From 25 May 2020 the entry fee is 180,00€

Undelivered awards will remain to the organisation.
General schedule
Saturday, 26th June from 17:00 to 19:00 and Sunday 27th June from 09:00 t0 12:00 and from 15:00 to 20:00
- Official training day:
Sunday, 27th June
- Contest flying days:
From 28th June to 2th July
Saturday, 3th July: Day of possible recovery due to bad weather, same program as the previous days.
- Prize-giving and closing ceremony:
Friday, 2th July at 19:00
(postponed to Saturday, 3th July, if it is recovery day)
