Best airport to fly to is Auckland, from there it is approximately a 3 hour drive to Rotorua.

Rotorua is a major tourist centre with excellent transport links to the major NZ cities and airports. Check out http://www.nakedbus.com/ for good deals on buses to Rotorua.

Flying sites are approx 40-60 mins drive from Rotorua and require 4WD vehicles for access to the take off. There will be some spare capacity in private vehicles but pilots are advised to contact the organisers if they need assistance with transport arrangements.

In order to keep entry fees down there is no official transport & retrieve service for the PG Open 2017, so pilots are encouraged to car-share where possible.
