Flying site

Loma Bola is a mountain sports center, focused primarily on paragliders. Over 20 years of experience, we are pioneers in this activity, that it allows us to invite the public to a unique experience, enjoy guided flights and outdoor activities.
Loma Bola is considered an ideal launch because of its location and excellent climatic conditions that allow flying all year with great confidence. Many flight schools operate there and it also hosts a lot of national and international events.
Loma Bola is a Nature Reserve Adventures in paragliding which ranks first as activities for their benefits of location, accessibility and flight conditions throughout the year made the site one of the best centers in the world flight.
We flew every day that the weather permits, our takeoff that features great amenities such as bar, parking, bathrooms, Internet access, etc. The local club ¨Los Caranchos¨ develop all the activities there. Located on San Javier Hills 4 km away from The Christ over the road to Villa Nougues a touristic center.

The exclusion area International Airport is about 10 km east of the launch, on the plain. This is not a requirement for achieving good work north and south as it flies over the mountains normally and in the case of raised sleeves south, the pilot will experience different landscapes, from the Yungas forest on the mountain, through citrus and strawberry plantations to large tracts of sugar cane. The whole area in which the work has raised many safe and very near access routes or locations that make an easy target rescue landings.

Loma Bola Take off - 1350 m ASL (-26.82263, -65.36873) 26º49’21.48’’ S – 65º22’07.41’’ W
The takeoff in Loma Bola has enough space for 5 - 6 pilots take off simultaneously. The entire surface has a very comfortable lawn sloping to cancel a takeoff at the last minute without consequences. It has a height of 800 mts and spring ceilings of about 1200 m above takeoff are achieved. Prevailing winds 5 to 18 km / h are from the South - Southeast and usually at this time of year fly between cumulus that guide the way.
