A meeting place for masters and beginners, old and new friends. May and June in Tekeli is known for good weather and picturesque views, the place is perfect for both paragliding masters and novice pilots who are just getting used to the sky.

Competitions will be held in the Zhetysu region. We will have three take off sites. Two of them are located close to a city called " Tekeli"
Start 1- Start height above sea level 1200 meters
Start 2- Start height above sea level 1800 meters
Landing 1- height above sea level 1000 meters Reserve take off is: The pilots themselves call our place "Koksu" since a river with the same name flows near the village of Rudnichny.

Selection and entry fee
Documents required at registration

FAI Sporting Licence
Issued by your local NAC on behalf of the FAI. You cannot normally compete in an FAI event without one. Contact your National Association (NAC)

Signed Application form
You will need to sign an applicaton form at the venue. Usually the organiser will provide it on arrival.

Signed Waiver/Release form
You will need to sign a waiver or release document to show you understand the risks. Usually the organiser will provide it on arrival.

Identification documents needed
You will need to provide photo ID on arrival. This could be Passport, Driving Licence or National ID, for example.

Liability Insurance
You must provide the organiser with a copy of your liability (3rd party) insurance documents

Rescue/Medical Insurance
You must provide the organiser with a copy of your medical, rescue and repatriation insurance. You can purchase Global Rescue cover from Airtribune

How to get here
The fastest way to get to the Taldykorgan from Almaty international Airport is to:
1-Take a taxi
2-Take a bus which is going from the road station.
3-The best option for pilots who don't speak local language is to fill the form with the details of their arrival to Almaty so organiser could provide for them transportation to the flying site:
