XХIV Dnister Cup is an XC paragliding competition. The Cup is held in the valley of the most beautiful river of Europe - Dnister. This place offers a wonderful experience of flatland XC flights. The height of start above the level of the river - 120 m - adds to the fine and easy launch.

Flying site

Nagorianu is a unique flatland flying site, because due to its climatic peculiarities almost every day is flyable. This place is located in Dnestr river canyon in Vinnitsa region of Ukraine near the border to Moldova.
This flying site offers fine flying conditions both for skilled pilots and for scholars too. However nearby there is the southern slope of the river high bank exposed to sunshine, where you can find powerful and high thermals.
Flying weather lasts from April to November. The average cloud base is from 2500 to 3200 meters. Average thermal strength is 3-5 m/s. The best time to start 1:00 PM
Average XC flights at this place are about 80 km. The record flight made at this place was 100 km and it took 3h 04m.

100 Euro equivalent in local currency. To be paid in cash upon arrival.

Documents required at registration

Issued by your local NAC on behalf of the FAI. You cannot normally compete in an FAI event without one. Contact your National Association (NAC)

FAI Sporting Licence
The FAI IPPI card is an International card that states your skill level. It is issued by your National Association and matches the level or your flying Licence

You will need to sign an applicaton form at the venue. Usually the organiser will provide it on arrival.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of a Competition by the Organisation
In the event that the organisers deem it necessary to cancel, relocate or reschedule
the competition before the first scheduled day you will be entitled to a refund of
any entry fees paid to the organisers.
After the start of the competition any refunds will be at the sole discretion of the
organisers.
The organisers will not be liable for any costs incurred by anyone attending or
intending to attend the event or any consequential losses arising from the
cancellation relocation or rescheduling of the event.

It takes half an hour to get by car to Nagorianu from Mogiliv-Podilskiy (30 km away).
And about 2 hours to get there from Zhmerinka via E583/M21 - 96.7 km.
