Wilotree Park (Sheets airfield) is located one mile south of Groveland in Florida, United States. Groveland itself is situated in Lake County, in the center of the state. The surrounding area is dominated by pasture lands intermixed with treed swamps and some residential areas.

This is a Sport Class only event. There will be advanced pilot mentors to help with small groups of pilots.
Hang 3 rating (or hang 2 with instructor recommendation) with aerotow sign off is a requirement . Aerotow practice and sign off is available before the competition. Tows outside the competition days are paid for separately.

Missing Requirements – Registered but we have not received (and reviewed) signed waivers and medical forms nor received payment.
Waiting for payment – Registered and received and reviewed signed waivers and medical form but not payment.
In progress – Registered and received payment but not signed (and reviewed) waivers and medical form.
Confirmed – Registered and received and reviewed signed waivers and medical form and payment.
Waiting list - (this is the default that Airtribune sets automatically when you register) probably we haven't yet set you as "Missing Requirements," which we do unless we see that you have done more than register. But, while we've never had a Waiting List before, who knows, we may have one in the future and you may be on it.
Prize fund and scoring categories
General schedule
Check-in 10 am to noon, 1 pm to 4:30 pm, outside under the tent near club house. Please arrive in time for check-in and later for meeting with mentors.
Get together, 6:30 pm, Saturday, March 23rd, near the club house at the picnic tables. Mentors meet their first small groups afterward.
Safety Briefing, 9 am Sunday, March 24th.
First pilot briefing, 10 am, Sunday, March 24th.
Sunday, March 24th through Saturday, March 30th - Competition flying days.
Evening, Saturday, March, 30th - Awards ceremony

How to get here
Wilotree Park, nee Sheets field is about two miles south of Groveland, Florida, on highway 33. It is a left turn at a busy bend in the road (be careful). Headquarters is the club house, first building on the right.

Plane
The nearest international airport is Orlando. From there you take a car to Quest Air hang gliding club.
Car
It take about 1 hour driving from Orlando. Take highways 528, Florida's turnpike and FL-50 to get to Sheets airfield. This route is about 42 miles.
