The Kaapse Buitepos Klub will be hosting the 2021 South African pre PWC, a FAI sanctioned CAT2 event. The seven day event will run from 12 to 18 December 2021, with no rest days. 11 December will be an official practice day; 10 December will be an unofficial practice day.

Porterville located in the South West of South Africa, in about 90 km from the Atlantic ocean, and 120 km North East of Cape Town. It offers a nice mixture of thermal and dynamic flying, offering big distance flights possible on the ridge and in the flats.

The Kaapse Buitepos Klub will be hosting the 2021 South African pre PWC, a FAI sanctioned CAT2 event. The seven day event will run from 12 to 18 December 2021, with no rest days. 11 December will be an official practice day; 10 December will be an unofficial practice day. Porterville, which is known as Africa's premier summer flying and XC competition site has hosted several South African Nationals, 5 Pre-PWC's (2011, 2012, 2017,2018 , 2019 and 2021)
Selection and entry fee
As many local pilots arrange their own recovery, we are introducing an option for pilots to use either the competition recovery, or their own. This way the organization can arrange for more efficient logistical infrastructure.
Competition Entry Fee, Recovery included:
Normal Registration: (Payment before 1st November 2022): ZAR 3700 (+- 230 Euro, $250)
Late Registration (Payment after 1st November 2022): ZAR 4600 (+- 290 Euro, $310)
Competition Entry Fee, Recovery excluded:
Normal Registration: (Payment before 1st November 2021 ): ZAR 1900 (+- 110Euro, $130)
Late Registration (Payment after 1st November 2021): ZAR 2900 (+- 220Euro, $260)

Documents required at registration

FAI Sporting Licence
Issued by your local NAC on behalf of the FAI. You cannot normally compete in an FAI event without one. Contact your National Association (NAC)

FAI IPPI Card
The FAI IPPI card is an International card that states your skill level. It is issued by your National Association and matches the level or your flying Licence

National Licence
The organiser requires you to present your National flying licence.

Signed Application form
You will need to sign an applicaton form at the venue. Usually the organiser will provide it on arrival.

Signed Waiver/Release form
You will need to sign a waiver or release document to show you understand the risks. Usually the organiser will provide it on arrival.

Identification documents needed
You will need to provide photo ID on arrival. This could be Passport, Driving Licence or National ID, for example.

Liability Insurance
You must provide the organiser with a copy of your liability (3rd party) insurance documents

Rescue/Medical Insurance
You must provide the organiser with a copy of your medical, rescue and repatriation insurance. You can purchase Global Rescue cover from Airtribune

100% refund if competition is cancelled
If pilot cancel before 20th November refunded in full , no refund after
