First BULGARIAN paragliding event in its kind, incorporating competition flying and practical lessons with the idea to forward motivation and practical skills to new and on different level cross-country pilots from very experienced and professional competition pilots (mentors). They will give information and guidance to all participants. There will be a special focus to beginner XC pilots, who will be scored in fun class, flying the same tasks with the mentors, but with waypoints with bigger cylinder radius.
The event will take place at Belasitsa Mountain, Petrich municipality. This is the southernmost mountain in Bulgaria on the border with Greece and Macedonia. It offers wonderful conditions for XC, with options for mountain and flatland flying. Because of the climate in the south part of the country the XC flying season starts earlier here than the average date in Bulgaria.

The mentors ( experienced PWC pilots) of the competition will give detailed weather forecast and will do the task setting every flyable day. They will provide as much information as possible to all pilots, allowing them to improve their understanding of the conditions and also give them the tools to make better planning and performance during the task. A local pilot will share his knowledge to everyone for every task. They will decide on the route to be flown everyday and will make a task with 2 different size cylinders. The bigger cylinders will be for the more inexperienced pilots, giving them the option to keep up with the top pilots. The aim is to improve the XC understanding and to make flying safer.
Every evening there will be a short analysis of the task route, the results and the weather from the last task.
