The Spring Meeting - Friuli Venezia Giulia Trophy, at its 3rd edition, is a FAI 2 competition (Hang Gliding class 1, class 5, Sport class) which takes place in a flight zone well known by European pilots.

Meduno is near Pordenone, in the North-East of Italy. The take-off can be comfortably reached driving along an asphalt road and it’s the perfect launch site for Hang Gliding competitions. There is an unlimited area to open Hang Gliders, as well as the numbers of lines available along the amphitheatre, which rises in the west part of the ramp.

The Spring Meeting - Friuli Venezia Giulia Trophy, at its 3rd edition, is a FAI 2 competition (Hang Gliding class 1, class 5, Sport class) which takes place in a flight zone well known by European pilots. It is also part of the big flying area which will host the XXII Hang Gliding World Championship.
The flight area is mainly in the foothill but, depending on weather conditions, it is possible to fly also in the Alps and in the flatland. There are different takeoffs; two of them are in Slovenia and can be chosen in case of changeable weather.
Besides the competition, many different activities will be organized for families, friends and visitors.

Selection and entry fee
Regular Online Registration will be closed on April 23, 2019.
SELECTION:
Until the maximum number of participants is reached, it will be possible to register and to be selected for the event.
ENTRY FEE
- Regular entry fee is 190,00 € (150,00 € for UNDER 30 - WOMEN - CLASS 1 SPORT).
- UNDER 20: free entry fee.

REFUND
In case of no valid tasks, the organisation will return to any participant part of the entry fee. The amount will be defined on the basis of the expenses afforded by organizers.
If a pilot withdraws from the competition by March 25, 2019, the entire registration fee will be refunded, minus 30%, to cover organizational costs. The refund will be made at the end of the competition.
For cancellations received from March 26, 2019 and until the start of the competition there won't be any refund.

- 2° Class 1 OPEN
- 3° Class 1 OPEN
- 1° Class 1 Sport (only the 1° classified and only if there are at least 5 participants)
- 2° Class 1 Sport (only the 1° classified and only if there are at least 5 participants)
- 3° Class 1 Sport (only the 1° classified and only if there are at least 5 participants)
- 1° Class 1 Under 30 (only if the pilot is not included within the first 3 of the overall ranking of Class 1 OPEN)
- 1° Class 1 Female (only the 1° classified and only if there are at least 5 participants)
- 1° Class 5 (only if there are at least 5 participants)
- 2° Class 5 (only if there are at least 5 participants)
- 3° Class 5 (only if there are at least 5 participants)
To withdraw the prize, pilots have to be present at the Prize-giving Ceremony.
No proxy will be accepted.
Undelivered awards will remain to the organisation.

CAMPING
Next to the HQ there is a sportive center for camping.
The cost per day per person is 5€.
ACTIVITIES
Besides the competition, many different activities will be organized for families, friends and visitors.
