A week-long international, stress-free competition for pilots flying EN-A, B or C wings. Providing a learning environment for experienced XC pilots new to competition, the week includes task briefings and de-briefings as well as a number of social events.

Laragne is the best known of the local sites . Many Paraglider and most Hang glider pilots will have heard of Laragne Chabre, but only recently have paraglider pilots discovered how good it is. Although it is better known to the Germans, Swiss, Czechs, Belgians etc.

Event info
A week-long international, stress-free competition for pilots flying EN-A, B or C wings. Providing a learning environment for experienced XC pilots new to competition, the week includes task briefings and de-briefings as well as a number of social events. Sponsored by Ozone and Cross Country Magazine, the Meet Director is Jocky Sanderson. Now in its 17th year, the event is organised by local club, Chabre Vol Libre (English-speaking).
Selection and entry fee

Numbers of Fun, Recreation and Sport class gliders
Plus: A number of ‘wild card’ places allocated by the organisers for sponsors and to complete teams.
Entry fee will be 300 euros (TBC) for pilots flying non-Ozone gliders and 280 euros for pilots flying Ozone gliders.
Documents required at registration

FAI IPPI Card
The FAI IPPI card is an International card that states your skill level. It is issued by your National Association and matches the level or your flying Licence

National Licence
The organiser requires you to present your National flying licence.

Signed Waiver/Release form
You will need to sign a waiver or release document to show you understand the risks. Usually the organiser will provide it on arrival.

Liability Insurance
You must provide the organiser with a copy of your liability (3rd party) insurance documents

Rescue/Medical Insurance
You must provide the organiser with a copy of your medical, rescue and repatriation insurance. You can purchase Global Rescue cover from Airtribune
Cancellation Policy
Accepted entries are non transferable.
